CHELATING AGENTS

Chelating agents are used in the industrial wastewater treatment for the removal of ions of heavy metals such as hexavalent chromium, copper, cadmium, nickel, zinc etc.

When the product is applied, it forms flock with the heavy metal ions by strong chelating bond and these flocks can then be easily removed by sedimentation or filtration.

The product demonstrates excellent performance in both high and low concentrations of heavy metal ions while various co-existing ions can be removed at single treatment.
