POLYELECTROLYTES
Polyelectrolytes are polymers of very high molecular weights and they are distinguished mainly in four categories depending on the charge they acquire when dissolved in water: anionic, cationic, non ionic and amphoteric.
Because of their structure (very long chain of monomers) and of their ionic charge, they contribute in the formation of large flocs by bridging destabilized (due to coagulation) solid particles together, facilitating their final removal from the solution.
They are used extensively for sludge dewatering in waste water treatment plants, in physico-chemical wastewater treatment in combination with coagulants, in water refineries, paper industries etc.
Our company offers a wide variety of products suitable to cover your business needs in the best technical and economical way.
